Occupational therapists are tasked with assessing and treating patients to help them attain their highest level of functional independence. They implement goal-oriented, client-centered treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Additionally, they coordinate discharge plans with the team and relevant community resources. Occupational therapists also actively participate in health promotion and educational activities to support overall well-being. Pembroke Regional Hospital serves the diverse health care needs of residents of Pembroke and the surrounding communities.
